Control-S connections are simple: just plug a 1/8" mono
cable into the Slink-e Control-S port and the Control-S port of the device you wish to
connect to. You can also "Y" the Control-S cable to connect to more than one
Control-S device if they respond to different codes (e.g. 3 VCRs set to VCR1, VCR2, and
VCR3). The Control-S port is actually shared with the IR TX 7 port – it just has
different voltages for signaling and no carrier. In order to use the Control-S port, you
just need to send Sony IR commands to IR TX 7 with no carrier.
